WMBC SMALL GROUPS

Small groups exist at WMBC to create opportunities for people encounter, know, love and become like Jesus.

Hebrews 10:24-25 says, "and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."

Therefore, it is essential for our Church to meet in small groups to grow in faith, family, and vulnerability. Consider joining a small group today!

PRAYER

Prayer - A central part of the Christian walk in assisting in the carrying of each others' burdens (Gal 6:2). Small groups provide a great opportunity to share personal prayer requests and share the burden of life's trials. This is also a great place to share praise items and celebrate together as a church family! A church built on the foundation of prayer is one of great strength.

THE WORD

Small groups gather together weekly/bi-weekly to study God's Word. This smaller setting allows for great opportunity to study the scriptures with our church family and deeper discussions on how to apply the scriptures to our daily lives.

RELATIONSHIPS

"Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works." (Hebrew 10:25) This verse models for us what intentional relationships should look like as a church family. To stir each other up in love and good works, we need to be a people of vulnerability and accountability. Small groups are a safe place to grow in your relationship with God by digging into God's Word and encouraging one another in the faith and life.

PRACTICAL SERVING

God has chosen the local church to "go therefore and make disciples". A key area of discipleship is relationship. Serving our community and building relationships often open doors for us to share the gospel with those who would not normally listen. Serving helps us to love our community and share the gospel by serving with the gifts God has given us. Great ways to serve our community include:

Visitations, raking leaves, care meals, serving community events etc.
