What is your ministry?

Our goal is to help every single person that attends here on a regular basis to find an opportunity where you can use your spiritual gifts, your heart, your attitude, your personality and your life experiences to serve God by serving others. It is our dream to see everyone serving in an area that they are passionate about.

Recognizing the way God has prepared you for ministry just makes sense - for you and the church. We would like to be able to work with you in finding an area of service that really fits you. Finding that place may mean trying things you never thought you would be able to do. It might mean trying a few different things before we find the right fit. The fear of a long term commitment should not hold you back from trying an area of service that may turn out to be very fulfilling for you. Talk to us - we can often be open to short term trial periods. Also many opportunities exist for helpers or shared positions in areas like teaching.

We believe that every member (for their sake and the sake of the church) should be a minister!

Remember

  • Ministry is God's idea, not ours
  • Ministry is a privilege, not a problem.
  • Ministry enhances personal growth.
  • Ministry (service) is pleasing to God.
  • Ministry unleashes the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • Ministry multiplies the church's potential.

Team Ministry Spiritual Gifts Inventory

This questionnaire (provided free of charge by the Church Growth Institute) will help you identify your God-given spiritual gifts. While there are many spiritual gifts, this evaluation covers the nine task-oriented gifts used in daily life to do the work of Christian ministry. Every Christian has a dominant gift and many possess more than one. Through this analysis, you will find out in which areas you are "less" gifted and will also discover your dominant task-oriented gift. You can then begin to concentrate on further developing your dominant gift as you exercise it in daily life and in your local church ministry.

Once completed, why not use it to start the discussion with us on where your gifts fit in the best!
